General Secretariat:

?29 November – 9 December: G#nter Rath, Director, Income Coordination and

Development, is visiting member churches in Japan, Korea and Thailand.

?30 November – 14 December: Peter Williams, Photographic/audio-visual

services Coordinator, is gathering new photo material in Eritrea and

Ethiopia.

?1-6 December: Wesley Ariarajah, Deputy General Secretary, is in

Trivandrum, India, for the Juhanon Mar Thoma Memorial Lectures 1994.

?6-10 December: Wesley Ariarajah will attend the Ecumenical Loan Fund

(ECLOF) meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Unit II:

?30 November – 11 December: Christopher Duraisingh, Executive Secretary

for Gospel and Culture, is to attend Gospel and Culture Consultations in

Kingston, Jamaica and Portland and Chicago, USA.

?5-9 December: Daleep Mukarji, Coordinator, Community and Justice, will go

to London, UK, to visit Christian Aid and the Council of Churches for

Britain and Ireland.

Unit III:

?4-10 December: Deborah Robinson, Executive Secretary, Programme to Combat

Racism, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the International Conference on

Rethinking Human Rights (organised by the Just World Trust).

?8-11 December: Aruna Gnanadason, Executive Secretary, Women, will go to

Bangalore, India, for the Core Group meeting of the Asian Women’s Human

Rights Council.

?10-19 December: Clement John, Executive Secretary, International Affairs,

Peace and Human Rights, going to Hong Kong to attend a Consultation on East

Timor. He will also visit the Hong Kong churches and Council and the

Christian Conference of Asia.

Unit IV:

?4 – 9 December: Salwa Morcos, Executive Secretary for the Middle East,

will go to Beirut, Lebanon, to take part in a Regional Group meeting and to

visit the DSPR (Department on Service to Palestinian Refugees) programme

and other projects.

?4-13 December: Pamela Greet, Consultant for Africa Drought Relief,

Emergency and Rehabilitation Office, will go to Angola for the annual

general meeting of Church Action in Angola (consortium with

northern/southern partners). She will then go on to Namibia to review

Disaster Preparedness Plans.

?8-10 December: Myra Blyth, Executive Director, will go to Woudschoten,

The Netherlands, for the Association of Protestant Development

Organizations in Europe (APRODEV) Steering Committee meeting.
